Turmoil has engulfed the Galactic Republic. The taxation of trade routes to outlying star systems is in dispute.

Many fans, I know, shudder or groan with disgust towards Jar Jar Binks.

If I could go back in time, I would give George Lucas different ideas on how to write Jar Jar for Episode I.

Jar Jar Binks was a Gungan Jedi Knight from Naboo who left the Jedi Order after having a brush with the Dark Side of the Force. He returned to Naboo to live a quiet life in a self-imposed exile with just the Force and his lightsaber to defend himself.

The galaxy would have other plans for him, as a malevolent presence of the Dark Side of the Force was burgeoning on the other side of the planet. Jar Jar would be conducting a clandestine search for this presence so that it could be brought out into the open, exposed and vanquished.

Things would take a different turn when the Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived on Naboo to investigate the invasion plot of the Trade Federation...

Sounds pretty stupid, huh? But it's always welcome to see Micro-Heroes work of Star Wars.
